Hello! Today marks exactly one year since I published my first ever blog post. When I started my blog I didn't really know what I was doing or why I was doing it, and I didn't have any clear goals or aims. It was purely on a whim, and just for fun. I started out featuring a lot more beauty reviews (even though I knew nothing about make up - and still don't) and a few lifestyle posts here and there. Before I started I had absolutely no idea just how many other bloggers there are out there, and I had no clue about the concept of branding yourself through your blog and even using it as a source of income. How naive I was!

During my first year of blogging it became clear to me that I want to focus mostly on fashion and style. Of course I like a bit of variation between posts, but my first love is definitely outfits. I'm not saying that the beauty and lifestyle posts have been completely left behind, but they are not nearly as prominent as they were when I first started. Attending my first ever London Fashion Week was really a turning point because I met so many other inspiring fashion bloggers, and I realised how important developing my own style and documenting it on my blog is to me.

Over the next year I intend to purchase a better lens for my camera and so hopefully improve my photos, and also hopefully collaborate with a couple of photographers to switch things up a bit! I definitely intend to go to LFW again in February, and hopefully attend a few more press events and bloggy meet ups if possible! I want to keep developing my content and posting regularly, possibly teach myself a bit of HTML trickery to update my layout, and of course hopefully gain more and more lovely readers!

I never dreamed that blogging would become such a huge part of my life, or that I'd gain such a loyal following of readers. So thanks to everyone who's ever read any of my posts, left me nice comments, and generally supported me and my little space on in the internet. I hope you'll all continue to follow along over the next year!

Lots of love... Sarah...x
